Youth
Activities for the youth are definitely not lacking in Rosscarbery.
An area with a very strong Gaelic Athelic Association - there are weakly training sessions for underage football, both boys and girls and also hurling for boys. These are great ways of being active as well as learning the benifits of playing on a team.
For those who prefer to get their feet wet, there is the "Dolphin" swimming club which meets several times a week at the lesiure center attached to the Celtic Ross Hotel.
However should never of the above tickle the fancy of the youth in Rosscarbery all is not lost!

In addition to all of the above sports and activities Rosscarbery is host to two annual festivals, the Art and Literature weekend which is held in May and the Family Festival which is held in August. Both of these events have a wide selelection of activites for the youth from pottery and art classes in May to sack races and sandcastles competitions in August.
So without ever taking into account the local beaches and beautiful walks, it is sure that the youth of Rosscarbery have a wide selection of activities to keep them both occupied and entertained all year long.
