Introduction

Rosscarbery Rowing Club is a coastal rowing club based in Rosscarbery, West Cork and is a member of the South West Coast Yawl Rowing Association. The club competes using our ICRF one design boat the "Celtic Ross" in the SWCYRA championships, the SWCYRA - CRA county regatta and the Irish Coastal Rowing Federation All Ireland championships. The club also competes at friendly regattas in the West Cork area using our traditional timber boat  "Cliodna's Wave".

 

 

Our next regattas are Union Hall on Sunday August 1st and Baltimore on Monday August 2nd. Both 1pm

Training times

Tuesday 27th + Wednesday 28th July 7:30pm Glandore

Friday 30th in Rosscarbery U12 7pm. U14 7:30pm. U16 8:00pm. Ladies and men including U18 8:30pm

Glandore Regatta 25th July 2010

Our under 16 and Under 16 ladies crews won their races. Our Under 12s were second, our under 14 ladies were third and our under 18 crew were third. We also had crews in the Mixed (7th), U14 (7th), Under 12 Ladies (6th) and pre vet ladies (5th) 

 

Courtmacsherry 24th July - Under 14s victorious

Congratulations also to U12 crew who came second at Courtmac. We also had crews in under 12 beginners (4th), under 16 (5th), mixed (4th), ladies (5th) and mens (5th) races.

Mixed:                          1. Myross, 2. Galley, 3. Castletownshend

Ladies:                         1. Myross, 2. Galley, 3. Kilmacsimon

Men:                             1. Galley, 2. Ring, 3. Myross

 We also had crews in the U12 beginners, U14 Ladies, Mixed and Ladies races.

 

  

AGM 26th February 2010

The Annual General Meeting of Rosscarbery Rowing Club was held Friday the 21st of November 2008 in the Community Centre, Rosscarbery.

The following officers were elected
