Lisavaird Community Association

Community Association organised to maintain the Community Hall, which is a venue for a variety of local activities: karate, ICA, Parents Association and school functions, whist (every 1st Tuesday and every 4th Friday of the month), scors, concerts, meetings, classes, etc. The Festival of the Bard is held every year at the end of July to raise funds to maintain the Hall.

Rosscarbery & District Historical Society
|
Monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month from October to April, with the exception of December. Field trips are organised during the summer months, apart from August. The annual general meeting is held early in October of each year. Meetings and outings are well attended, and there is a lot of interest in local history generally.

Rosscarbery Business Association

The purpose of the Association is to work on behalf of its members to promote and improve what Rosscarbery area has to offer its visitors and its community.

Rosscarbery Social Services

Rosscarbery Social Centre provides a welcoming environment to all. The centre is also used for community meetings, work shops and fund raising events. If you would like to hold a meeting in this bright & modern facility, feel free to enquire. A nominal fee is charged per meeting.

Rosscarbery Tidy Towns Association Ltd.

Founded in 2001 to 1) Improve the quality of life for residents and visitors; 2) Maintain the heritage character of the town and develop the area for future generations; 3) Involve all community groups in the improvement of the area; 4) Proceed with the aim of improving our ranking in the tidy towns competition in future years; 5) Encourage and promote a sense of pride in our area; 6) Highlight the wide and varied range of wildlife that abounds in Rosscarbery; 7) Provide information on the history of Rosscarbery.
