Drombeg Stone Circle

Also known as the ‘Druid’s Altar” and located c5km from Rosscarbery, this is one of the most visited megalithic sites in Ireland and well worth a visit. Of the 17 original stone pillars, 13 remain standing and there are also the remains of 2 stone-built prehistoric huts.
